THERE'S NOTHING TO DO IN PERTH ?!?
EPISODE 10 – PERTH ZOO SPECIAL

Links:
Perth Zoo

This is a fascinating episode featuring one of the best zoos in the world, Perth Zoo. We’ll meet a lot of animals including WA’s state fauna emblem, the numbat, plus we’ll be spray painted by an elephant, meet the new baby orang-utan and dive underwater with over 20 penguins.

Perth Zoo has a world leading breeding program for many animals that are endangered or threatened and none is better than their orang-utan family. They were the first zoo in the world to release a captive-bred orang into the wild and they’ve had great success over more than 20 years with producing new healthy members of their own ape community.

Elephants are a huge attraction at Perth Zoo and now you can have Trisha or Permi spray paint you and your canvas to create a unique painting where proceeds go to wildlife conservation. Steve and Janet each get a turn to delve into the elephant art community with hilarious results.

And we’ve also got everybody’s favourites, the penguin, seen for the first time at Perth Zoo feeding on fish underwater. This is an episode not to be missed.
